Description
Illusion Weaver is a visually striking variety recognized for its large, broad caps and substantial fruiting structure. Mature specimens can develop rich caramel to chestnut coloration through the center of the cap, often fading toward lighter golden edges as they expand.
Illusion Weaver is known for producing broad, well-developed caps that can become nearly planar at full maturity. Stems are typically tall, dense, and white to cream in coloration, with pronounced blue bruising appearing where the tissue is handled or damaged. Mature specimens often develop an impressive cap-to-stem proportion and a distinctly old-school wild-type appearance.
The variety is known for vigorous mycelial growth and can produce dense clusters with well-spaced individual specimens developing throughout the culture. Later development can produce especially large, mature fruits with substantial caps and thick stems.
